You may specify limits for the amount of error in loops to be closed. Loops whose total error exceeds the value given for "Max E" will not be closed. Those loops will also be colored red on the loop information widow to identify them. Loops whose total error exceeds the value given for "Bad E" (but does not exceed "Max E") will be closed, but will be colored blue on the loop information widow. In this way, Loops colored blue on the listing are identified as being questionable.
The maximum number of loops to be expected during closure may also be entered in the edit field titled "Loops". This number is used to determine how much memory to set aside for loop closure. If you have plenty of free RAM available, enter some large number less than 1000. At present, only 1000 loops may be identified and closed. If you don't have much RAM, just enter a number somewhat larger than the number of loops you expect to have in any of your surveys.
